I can not say enough good things about the Manor Bed and Breakfast Inn. Not to sounds like I'm over doing it, Ellen is an incredibly gracious host. First, you are greeted with a huge smile. She was going above and beyond for my dietary needs, and I said she didn't need to cater to me. "I know I don't, but I love doing it. I want to!" The breakfast is delicious, everything is spotless, and she was completely transparent where to go (and not go) in town. Actually, the Manor Inn was full, so I stayed down the road at the Inn on Fairfax, which she manages. The shower in the Green Room and the porch swing made my much needed escape from DC perfect. Do note: If you stay at the Inn on Fairfax, there is no wifi or TV. But the Manor does have them and Ellen invites you to walk half block to come use it.
